Lima Ahmad is PhD candidate at The Fletcher School at Tufts University. Her research focuses on youth and their vulnerabilities to extreme violence. She founded Paywand Afghan Association that focuses on research regarding women’s issues. Ms. Ahmad is an independent researcher who has published reports on, “The Women’s Penal System in Afghanistan,” “Women’s Participation in the Peace process of Afghanistan” and “NATO as the Security Sector Reform Organization” and several analytical articles.
