As an Ethiopian political analyst and commentator he has appeared on the Voice of America (VOA) & various East African media outlets. He co-founder of the defunct YEROO, the first private Qubee newspaper in the history of Oromo. As an Ethiopian of mixed ancestry, he has sought to raise awareness of the dangers of tribalism in the Horn of Africa.
