Fatma Sumer is a doctor of criminal law and criminal procedures of law, as well as the vice-dean at Istanbul Yeni Yuzyil University Faculty of Law. She has previously served as a research assistant at the same university, a deputy advisor at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, and a thinktanker at SETA.
