Dr. Tadesse Amera is Co-chair of the International Pollutants Elimination Network (IPEN) from Ethiopia. IPEN comprises over 600 public interest groups in more than 125 countries, united to eliminate health and environmental threats from toxic substances for a toxics-free future for all. He is also Executive Director of Pesticide Action Network-Ethiopia and served for seven years in the Ministry of Health of Ethiopia. He holds a BSc. Degree in Environmental Health, a Master’s Degree in Public Health (MPH), and a PhD in Environmental Communication.
