Khalida Khan is Co-founder and Director of the UK-based An-Nisa Society, a UK based organisation working towards building a strong Muslim civil society. As an activist, campaigner and writer on Muslim issues, Khan regularly presents on issues of faith, service provision and the Muslim voluntary and community sector and is an advisor to media and researchers. Khan also coined the term ‘Institutional Islamophobia’ to identify anti-Muslim discrimination in policies and practices.
