Hoda Sherif is an Egyptian-Iranian writer and journalist based between Cairo and New York. She has a master’s degree from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism. Her reporting focuses on the legacies of transgenerational trauma in marginalized communities affected by war, exploring themes of racial battle fatigue, grief, social justice, and the broader human condition.
