Gaza death toll tops 50,900 after Israeli army kills 26 more Palestinians

The latest Israeli air strikes on Gaza killed at least 26 more Palestinians, bringing the death toll in its genocidal war since October 2023 to 50,912, the Health Ministry said.

A ministry statement said another 106 injured were taken to hospitals in the last 24 hours, bringing the number of wounded in the onslaught to 115,981.

400,000 displaced in Gaza since collapse of ceasefire: UNRWA

The UN agency for Palestinian refugees (UNRWA) warned that nearly 400,000 people have been displaced across Gaza since the collapse of the January ceasefire.

In a statement on X, the agency said, “It is estimated that nearly 400,000 people have been displaced in Gaza following the breakdown of the ceasefire,” noting that “they are now also enduring by far the longest blockage of aid and commercial supplies since the start of the war.”

UNRWA reiterated its urgent call for the resumption of the truce to prevent further suffering.
