Israel kills 23 Palestinians in air strikes on southern GazaIsraeli air strikes on Rafah and Khan Younis in southern Gaza have killed at least 23 Palestinians and wounded dozens, targeting homes and refugee tents, according to medical sources and eyewitnesses.
A medical source at Gaza’s European Hospital told Anadolu that an Israeli air strike on the Ashour family home in the Al-Nasr area of southern Rafah killed eight people.
Two Palestinians were also killed in an attack on the Al-Hashash area, the source added.
Meanwhile, a medical source at Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis confirmed that nine people were killed when Israeli forces bombed several homes in the city.

Israel besieges Palestinian Red Crescent ambulances in Rafah, injures paramedicsThe Palestinian Red Crescent Society announced that Israeli forces had surrounded and besieged several of its ambulances in an area targeted by air strikes in the southern Gaza city of Rafah, injuring multiple paramedics.
“Occupation forces are besieging several Palestine Red Crescent ambulances while they were responding to an attack on Al-Hashashin area in Rafah,” the society said in a statement.
It added that several emergency medical teams have been injured, without specifying the number of casualties or the severity of their wounds.
Palestinian Red Crescent also noted that “contact has been lost with the team, which has been trapped for several hours.”

Israel military says it intercepted missile from YemenIsrael's military said it had intercepted a missile launched from Yemen after air raid sirens sounded in several areas across the country.
"Following the sirens that sounded a short while ago in several areas in Israel, a missile launched from Yemen was intercepted by the IAF (Israeli Air Force) prior to crossing into Israeli territory," the military said in a statement.
The latest interception is part of an escalation between Israel and the Houthis after the Iran-backed group claimed a series of missile launches this week.

In a statement on X, military spokesman Avichay Adraee said the army "launched an offensive to strike Palestinian group Hamas" in Rafah's Tal al-Sultan district, calling on Palestinians there to leave the "dangerous combat zone".

The condemnation came during a call between Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani and his Lebanese counterpart, Nawaf Salam, according to a statement by the Foreign Ministry.
The statement said the two leaders discussed "cooperation ties between the two countries and ways to bolster them, the latest developments in Lebanon, particularly the ceasefire deal and the withdrawal of Israeli occupation troops from Lebanese territories, in addition to sharing perspectives on a range of regional and global issues of common concern".

Israel launches more strikes on LebanonIsrael launched air strikes on several locations in Lebanon on Saturday, killing at least six people.
An Israeli strike on the southern Lebanese village of Touline killed five people, including a child, and wounded 10 others, including two children, Lebanon's state-run National News Agency reported.
Another Israeli strike Saturday night hit a garage in the coastal city of Tyre, the NNA reported, with one person killed and seven wounded. It was the first attack on the city since the ceasefire took effect on November 27.
