US raids destroy communication stations in Yemen's Omran, Saada: Houthis

The Houthi group in Yemen announced that US air strikes on the northern provinces of Omran and Saada have resulted in the "complete destruction" of communication stations.

A statement issued by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology of the Houthi government, which is not internationally recognized, said that the US air strikes "targeted communication networks in the Black Mountain area in Omran Governorate with five air strikes, and also targeted the communication network in the al-Lubda area in Saada Governorate with several airstrikes.”

The attacks resulted in the "total destruction" of broadcasting stations, communication towers, and messaging networks in these areas, it added.

Turkish, Palestinian leaders discuss Israel's attacks on Gaza in phone call

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan spoke over the phone with his Palestinian counterpart Mahmoud Abbas and discussed the ongoing Israeli attacks on Palestine as well as regional and global issues.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Qatar's Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani spoke over the phone and discussed bilateral ties and regional developments, including Israel’s attacks in Gaza, Lebanon, and Syria.

“Noting that Eid al-Fitr is being met with a heavy heart due to Israel’s attacks and oppressions in Gaza, Lebanon and Syria, President Erdogan stressed that Türkiye will continue to do its utmost to stop the bloodshed and sufferings and help the innocents,” Túrkiye’s Communications Directorate said in a statement.

Thirteen Palestinians killed in Israeli air strikes on Gaza ahead of Eid

Israeli air strikes across various areas of Gaza killed 13 Palestinians, including a child, and left several others injured, just before the Eid al Fitr holiday.

In one of the latest attacks, six Palestinians were killed in an Israeli artillery strike that targeted a house in the town of Abasan al-Kabira, east of Khan Younis in southern Gaza, according to medical sources.

US kills at least one in Yemen air strikes

US air strikes hit Yemen overnight into Saturday, killing at least one person, as the American military confirmed bombing a key Houthi-controlled military site in Sanaa.

The full extent of damage and casualties remains unclear, following particularly intense air strikes on Friday since the offensive began on March 15.

Houthis report 69 US air strikes in Yemen, highest single-day total

The Yemeni Houthi group said the US carried out 69 raids across Yemen — the highest in a single day since Washington initiated attacks on Houthi-controlled areas in mid-March.

Houthi-run Al-Masirah TV said warplanes conducted 26 raids by the afternoon on the capital, Sanaa, and the Al-Jawf and Saada provinces.

It added that raids in Saada province left one civilian killed and three wounded.

Egyptian, Saudi foreign ministers discuss Israeli war on Gaza

Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty and his Saudi counterpart Faisal bin Farhan discussed the ongoing Israeli genocide in Gaza and the future moves to stop the war.

A statement from the Egyptian Foreign Ministry said that Abdelatty and bin Farhan had a phone conversation to follow up on the outcomes of the Cairo-hosted meetings of the Arab-Islamic Ministerial Committee on Gaza.

They also discussed the future moves for the committee with the relevant international parties.
