Palestinian death toll in Israeli strikes on Eid day rises to 20

At least 20 Palestinians, including 10 children, were killed and several others injured since early Sunday in Israeli air strikes across northern and southern Gaza on the first day of Eid al Fitr.

Witnesses told Anadolu that Israeli air strikes targeted homes, a tent shelter and civilian vehicles in Gaza City, Jabalia in the north and Khan Younis in the south.

Houthis say they engaged US aircraft carrier three times in 24 hours

Yemen's Houthis said they engaged the US aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman and accompanying warships three times within 24 hours in the Red Sea.

In a televised statement, Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Saree said: "Our armed forces have engaged the American aircraft carrier Truman and its allied warships in the Red Sea three times in the past 24 hours."

He said the attacks involved "multiple cruise missiles and drones".

Netanyahu to visit Hungary despite ICC warrant

The Palestinian death toll in Gaza has reached 50,277, with 114,095 others wounded, following over 17 months of Israel's genocidal war, Gaza health authorities have said.

In the last 24 hours alone, Israeli air strikes and ground operations killed 26 Palestinians and wounded 70 others, with some victims still trapped under rubble, the health authorities reported.

Since March 18, Israel's decision to resume its military campaign in Gaza has resulted in the deaths of 921 Palestinians and left 2,054 people wounded in the besieged enclave.
