Israeli warplanes broke the sound barrier above Beirut and parts of Lebanon.
"Israeli military aircraft broke the sound barrier over Beirut and several Lebanese regions," according to the Lebanese National News Agency, NNA.
Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed gratitude to Hamas for releasing a Russian national.
Meeting in the Kremlin with Russian national Aleksandr Trufanov and his family, who was recently freed from Hamas captivity, Putin credited Russia's longstanding ties with the Palestinian people for enabling Trufanov's release.

At least one person was killed as US warplanes carried out more than 20 air strikes on Yemen's northern provinces of Sanaa and Al-Jawf, according to Houthi-run media.
A US attack targeting the Al-Nahda residential neighbourhood in the Al-Thawra district in the capital Sanaa left one dead, Al-Masirah TV reported on X.
