Medical supplies will only last one more week: Kuwait Hospital

Kuwait Specialised Hospital in Rafah in southern Gaza warned that it may be forced to cease operations, announcing that its medical supplies are expected to last just one more week.

“Due to the ongoing Israeli aggression and the closure of crossings, the health system is on the verge of collapse,” the hospital stated.

It revealed that more than 75 percent of essential medications are now unavailable in its stores, severely undermining the ability of medical staff to provide critical treatment.

57 Palestinians dead from starvation amid Israeli blockade

At least 57 Palestinians have died from starvation since October 7, 2023, due to Israel’s ongoing blockade of Gaza, according to the Government Media Office in Gaza.

“The number of victims of the starvation policy has risen to 57 martyrs, and the toll is likely to increase amid the continued closure of crossings and the ban on the entry of food, infant formula, nutritional supplements, and dozens of essential medications,” warned the office in a statement.

Earlier, a medical source told Anadolu that a child had died from malnutrition and dehydration at Al-Rantisi Children's Hospital in Gaza City.

UN envoy urges Israel to cease attacks on Syria 'at once'

United Nations special envoy for Syria Geir Pedersen urged Israel to immediately stop its attacks, after the Israeli military said it struck Syrian military sites overnight, the latest such raids.

"I strongly condemn Israel's continued and escalating violations of Syria's sovereignty, including multiple air strikes in Damascus and other cities," Pedersen said in a post on X, adding: "I call for these attacks to cease at once and for Israel to stop endangering Syrian civilians and to respect international law and Syria's sovereignty, unity, territorial integrity and independence."

Gaza death toll nears 52,500 as Israel continues its genocidal war

At least 52,495 Palestinians have been killed in Israel’s genocidal war since October 2023, the Health Ministry said.

A ministry statement said that 77 people were killed in Israeli attacks in the enclave in the last 48 hours, while 275 others were injured, taking the number of injuries to 118,366 in the Israeli onslaught.

“Many victims are still trapped under the rubble and on the roads as rescuers are unable to reach them,” it added.

Israeli strikes kill 29 Palestinians in southern Gaza, including infant

At least 29 Palestinians, including an infant, were killed in multiple Israeli attacks across Gaza.

According to medical sources speaking to Anadolu, ten bodies were recovered from beneath the rubble of the al-Ghattas family home in Gaza City following a pre-dawn Israeli air strike.

A medical source told Anadolu that 11 people were killed and several others injured when Israeli warplanes bombed the home of the Al-Bayram family in the city of Khan Younis. Elsewhere in the same city, a Palestinian infant was killed when Israeli forces shelled a tent sheltering displaced people near the city of Asdaa, west of Khan Younis.

Palestinian child dies of malnutrition, dehydration in Gaza as siege-induced famine deepens

A Palestinian girl died Saturday at Al-Rantisi Hospital in Gaza City due to severe malnutrition and dehydration as Israel maintains a crippling blockade that has cut off food, water, and medical aid to the population for over two months.

A medical source told Anadolu that the child, Janan Saleh Al-Saqafi, passed away as a direct result of starvation and lack of clean water.

Yemen’s Houthi group claimed that US forces carried out eight air strikes targeting areas in the northern provinces of Sanaa and Al-Jawf as tensions continue to rise.

According to the group’s Saba News Agency, a local source reported that one of the strikes hit the Bani Hashish district in Sanaa province.

Sirens sound in Israel following missile launch from Yemen

The Israeli military said it intercepted a missile fired from Yemen, as the US intensifies its strikes in Yemen against the Houthis.

The military said sirens were activated in a number of areas in Israel after the missile was launched.

US President Donald Trump in March ordered large-scale strikes against the Houthis to reduce their capabilities and deter them from attacking ships in the Red Sea.

The Houthis say their attacks on Israel and Red Sea shipping are in solidarity with the Palestinians over the ongoing Israeli genocidal war in Gaza.

Casualties as Israel targets Syrian cities

At least one person has been killed and four others wounded in Israeli air strikes on several locations in Syria.

Syrian state news agency, SANA, reported that Israeli warplanes carried out a raid in the vicinity of Shatha village in Hama province in the northwest, wounding four victims.

The strikes on the outskirts of Harasta in the Damascus countryside province in the southwest, left one dead, said SANA.

The broadcaster added that more air strikes hit areas near the towns of Muthabin and Izraa in Daraa province in the south.

The strikes come hours after Israeli warplanes struck an area in Damascus near the presidential palace, indicating a new escalation against Syria.
