Israel kills 11 more Palestinians in Gaza

The Israeli army has launched fresh air strikes across Gaza, killing at least 11 more Palestinians, medics said.

Six people of the same family were killed when an Israeli warplane struck a house in the northern town of Beit Lahia, a medical source told Anadolu.

Four more people lost their lives when fighter jets struck a group of civilians near a shelter centre in northwestern Gaza City, he said. Medics said a former football player was also killed in another strike on a gathering of people in western Gaza City.

Israel razes 3 more Palestinian homes in occupied West Bank

Israeli forces have demolished three more Palestinian homes in the occupied West Bank, witnesses said.

Two houses inhabited by ten Palestinians were razed in Burqin town, west of Salfit city, Wassim Sabra, one of the owners, told Anadolu.

A third house was demolished in Wadi Fukin village, west of Bethlehem city, witnesses said.

Palestinian journalist burnt alive after Israeli air strike in southern Gaza

A Palestinian journalist died of severe burns he sustained in an Israeli strike on a tent for journalists in the southern Gaza city of Khan Younis a day earlier, local media said.

Footage showed Ahmed Mansour, a reporter for the Palestine Today news agency, burning alive after the strike on the journalists’ tent near Nasser Hospital in the city on Monday.

Hamas hails African Union's expulsion of Israeli ambassador from genocide conference

The Palestinian group Hamas has hailed the African Union's decision to expel the Israeli ambassador to Ethiopia from attending a Tutsi genocide in Rwanda conference, describing the move as a "courageous stance".

Israel’s ambassador to Ethiopia, Avraham Neguise, was expelled from a conference on the genocide against the Tutsis organised by the African Union (AU) in the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa.

In a statement, Hamas said the stance "aligns with the Union’s values and principles, as well as its historic positions in support of the Palestinian cause and our people’s struggle against Zionist colonialism."

Trump again floats idea of occupying Gaza

President Donald Trump has said that the United States "controlling and owning" besieged Gaza would be a good thing, again floating a proposal that he put forward multiple times during the opening weeks of his administration.

"Having a force like the United States there, controlling and owning Gaza, would be a good thing," Trump told reporters at the White House after meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Trump said work was ongoing to free hostages held by Hamas but said securing the release of all the hostages was "a long process".

Asked if he would deliver on his promise during his campaign for president to end the war in Gaza, Trump said, "I'd like to see the war stop, and I think the war will stop at some point; that won't be in the too-distant future."

Israel's overnight strikes kill 19 Palestinians in Gaza

Gaza's civil defence agency has said that Israeli strikes overnight killed at least 19 people and wounded dozens more across the Palestinian territory.

Civil defence spokesman Mahmud Bassal has said, "19 civilians, including several children, were martyred" in Israeli raids during the night and early on Tuesday.

Netanyahu says Israel working on fresh Gaza hostage deal

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said during a White House meeting with President Donald Trump that new negotiations were in the works aimed at getting more hostages released from besieged Gaza.

"We're working now on another deal that we hope will succeed, and we're committed to getting all the hostages out," Netanyahu told reporters in the Oval Office.
