Hospitals will run out of fuel in three days: Gaza Health Ministry

Palestinian Health Ministry in Gaza has warned that hospitals in the enclave have "only three days" of fuel remaining.

“The Israeli occupation is preventing international and UN organizations from accessing fuel storage areas designated for hospitals under the pretext that these areas are located in ‘red zones’,” said the ministry in a statement.

Hospitals, reliant on generators due to power grid collapse from Israeli bombardment, face a shutdown of critical services if fuel supplies are not replenished.

The ministry called the obstruction a direct threat to medical operations.

Israel is greatest threat to international law: Erdogan

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan sharply criticised Israel, saying that Tel Aviv is “the biggest threat to international law” and accusing it of systematically violating legal norms.

“[Israel] has made a habit of violating international law. The whole world knows that the ships were carrying humanitarian aid and operating within the framework of international navigation rules. Despite this, carrying out this attack is pure banditry and piracy,” he said.

Erdogan also stressed that Israel is attempting to subdue Palestinians by cutting access to food and medicine after failing with military force.

He further stated that Israel is unsettled by the end of Syria’s civil war and the Syrian people’s pursuit of unity and self-determination.

Hamas praises Houthi attacks on Israel

Hamas has praised a missile attack on Israel's main international airport that was claimed by Yemen's Iran-aligned Houthis.

"Yemen... escalates its attacks on the heart of the illegitimate Zionist entity, surpassing the most advanced defence systems in the world and striking its targets with precision," Abu Obeida, spokesman for the group’s armed wing Qassam Brigades, said in a statement.

Attack on Israel's airport 'warning' to global airlines: Houthis

Yemen's Houthis said they had launched a hypersonic ballistic missile targeting Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv, warning international airlines that the Israeli airport is "unsafe for civilian aviation".

In a televised statement, Houthis' military spokesman, Yahya Saree, said the missile successfully struck its intended target, adding that another "vital target" in the coastal city of Ashkelon was also hit.

Two Israeli soldiers killed, three injured in Gaza: report

The Israeli army said two soldiers were killed and three others wounded in Gaza.

Israeli daily Yedioth Ahronoth reported that two soldiers were killed when an explosive device exploded while forces were inspecting a building in Rafah in southern Gaza.

Two other soldiers sustained serious and moderate injuries.

In a separate incident in northern Gaza, a reservist from Battalion 7007 of the Jerusalem Brigade was severely wounded, according to the same source.

Flights suspended at Israel's Ben Gurion Airport after missile attack

Israeli authorities suspended all flights at Ben Gurion Airport after a missile launched from Yemen struck near the facility.

Israel's emergency service, Magen David Adom, reported that "several people sustained minor injuries due to a missile falling near Terminal 3 at Ben Gurion Airport", without providing further details.

The strike occurred following multiple air raid sirens in various regions of Israel and several unsuccessful attempts to intercept the projectile, according to the Israeli army.

According to Channel 13, the military has launched an internal probe into the failure of the air defence systems to intercept the missile.

This marked the third such missile launch in two days following earlier Houthi claims of targeting Ramat David Airbase and the Tel Aviv region.

Israel says to hit back 'seven times stronger' after Yemen missile fire

Israel's defence minister threatened a forceful response to a missile fired from Yemen that the army said impacted near the country's main international airport.

"Anyone who hits us, we will hit them seven times stronger," Israel Katz said in a statement.

Israeli police reported an "impact" near the country's main international airport, after the army said it had attempted to intercept a missile launched from Yemen.

Yair Hezroni, the police's central district chief, said at the scene in a video released by the force that "you can see the area just behind us: a crater was formed here, several dozen metres (yards) wide and several dozen metres deep".

A police statement said there was a "missile impact".

UNRWA urges global action to prevent Gaza 'humanitarian catastrophe'

The humanitarian situation in Gaza is "beyond imagination" as Israel continued to block supplies into the enclave, the UN agency for Palestinian refugees (UNRWA) has said.

"As the complete blocking of supplies essential for survival enters its ninth week, there must be a concerted international effort to stop this humanitarian catastrophe from reaching a new unseen level," it added in a statement.

The refugee agency renewed its call for an immediate ceasefire in the Palestinian territory.

Israeli Cabinet ministers to vote on whether to expand Gaza invasion

Top Israeli Cabinet ministers were set to meet to vote on whether to intensify the country's military invasion in Gaza, as the army began to call up thousands of reserve soldiers in preparation for an expanded assault, Israeli officials have said.

As the humanitarian crisis in Gaza grows more severe, new Israeli plans are emerging to escalate the tragedy, more than a year and a half into the war.
