Turkish foreign minister to visit UAE for talks on Gaza, Syria

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan will visit the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Monday for talks expected to focus on bilateral ties and regional developments, according to Turkish Foreign Ministry sources.

Fidan will discuss efforts to re-establish a ceasefire in Gaza and ensure the uninterrupted delivery of humanitarian aid, the sources say.

The meetings will also address the broader humanitarian crisis in the enclave.

Fidan is expected to stress the need to increase pressure on Israel to achieve a lasting ceasefire and reaffirm Türkiye’s opposition to any attempt to forcibly displace Palestinians from their homeland.

NGO says it's in talks with Malta to repair Gaza-bound aid ship hit by drones

An international NGO that intends to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza by sea said it was in talks with Malta's government about allowing the vessel to enter Maltese waters to repair damage caused by a drone attack.

The ship "Conscience" run by the Freedom Flotilla Coalition suffered damage to its front section, including a loss of power, when hit by two drones just outside Maltese territorial waters in the central Mediterranean early on Friday, the NGO said.

The coalition, an international non-governmental group, said Israel, which has blockaded and bombarded Gaza in its war against Hamas, was to blame for the incident.

Israel has not responded to requests for comment.

Casualties from Israeli strike in Khan Younis rise

At least 26 Palestinians were killed, and many others were injured, in fresh Israeli air strikes in Gaza, medics said.

Four family members lost their lives when an Israeli jet hit a residential apartment in al-Mawasi in the southern city of Khan Younis, a medical source said.

Fourteen more people, including ten women, were also killed in two separate strikes on tents for displaced civilians in the same area, the source added.

Houthis report 2 US air strikes in northern Yemen

United States warplanes launched two fresh air strikes in northern Yemen, the Houthi group said.

The Houthi-run Al-Masirah TV said the two strikes targeted Khab wa Ash Shaaf district in Al-Jawf province.

No details were yet available about casualties or damage from the attacks.

There was no immediate comment from the US on the Houthi report.

Israel vows retaliation against Yemen's Houthis over airport attack

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed a multi-phased response to Yemen's Houthis after the rebels struck the area of Israel's main airport, wounding six people and prompting several major airlines to suspend flights.

The Israeli military confirmed that the attack, which gouged a large crater in the perimeter of Tel Aviv's Ben Gurion Airport, was launched from Yemen and had struck despite "several attempts... to intercept the missile".

In a video published on Telegram, Netanyahu said Israel had "acted against" the Iran-backed rebels in the past and "will act in the future".

"It will not happen in one bang, but there will be many bangs," the Israeli prime minister added, referring to the promised retaliation, without going into further detail.

Hospitals will run out of fuel in three days: Gaza Health Ministry

Palestinian Health Ministry in Gaza has warned that hospitals in the enclave have "only three days" of fuel remaining.

“The Israeli occupation is preventing international and UN organizations from accessing fuel storage areas designated for hospitals under the pretext that these areas are located in ‘red zones’,” said the ministry in a statement.

Hospitals, reliant on generators due to power grid collapse from Israeli bombardment, face a shutdown of critical services if fuel supplies are not replenished.

The ministry called the obstruction a direct threat to medical operations.

Israel is greatest threat to international law: Erdogan

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan sharply criticised Israel, saying that Tel Aviv is “the biggest threat to international law” and accusing it of systematically violating legal norms.

“[Israel] has made a habit of violating international law. The whole world knows that the ships were carrying humanitarian aid and operating within the framework of international navigation rules. Despite this, carrying out this attack is pure banditry and piracy,” he said.

Erdogan also stressed that Israel is attempting to subdue Palestinians by cutting access to food and medicine after failing with military force.

He further stated that Israel is unsettled by the end of Syria’s civil war and the Syrian people’s pursuit of unity and self-determination.

Hamas praises Houthi attacks on Israel

Hamas has praised a missile attack on Israel's main international airport that was claimed by Yemen's Iran-aligned Houthis.

"Yemen... escalates its attacks on the heart of the illegitimate Zionist entity, surpassing the most advanced defence systems in the world and striking its targets with precision," Abu Obeida, spokesman for the group’s armed wing Qassam Brigades, said in a statement.

Attack on Israel's airport 'warning' to global airlines: Houthis

Yemen's Houthis said they had launched a hypersonic ballistic missile targeting Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv, warning international airlines that the Israeli airport is "unsafe for civilian aviation".

In a televised statement, Houthis' military spokesman, Yahya Saree, said the missile successfully struck its intended target, adding that another "vital target" in the coastal city of Ashkelon was also hit.

Two Israeli soldiers killed, three injured in Gaza: report

The Israeli army said two soldiers were killed and three others wounded in Gaza.

Israeli daily Yedioth Ahronoth reported that two soldiers were killed when an explosive device exploded while forces were inspecting a building in Rafah in southern Gaza.

Two other soldiers sustained serious and moderate injuries.

In a separate incident in northern Gaza, a reservist from Battalion 7007 of the Jerusalem Brigade was severely wounded, according to the same source.
