Masana kimiyya sun samu hoton fashewar wasu taurari a karon farko a sararin kaunu, ta hanyar amfani da babbar na'urar hangen nesa ta European Southern Observatory da ke Chile.

Fashewar tauraro, wanda ake kira supernova, wani babban lamari ne mai matukar ƙarfi.

Yawanci, hakan na faruwa ne sakamakon ƙarewar makamashin nukiliyar tauraro mai nauyi fiye da sau takwas na nauyin rana, sannan ya fashe, lamarin da ke haifar da fashewa mai ƙarfi guda ɗaya.

Amma wani nau'in fashewar taurarin mai wuya ta shafi wani tauraron daban, wanda ake kira white dwarf (farin ƙaramintauraro), lamarin da ya samar da fashewa biyu a jere.
